UP FOR SALE IS MY CUSTOM AMERICAN IRONHORSE CHOPPER, IVE GOT OVER $50,000. IN THIS BIKE BUT FIND MYSELF NOT USING IT MUCH SINCE I TURNED 60 AND NOW IM 63 SO IT HAS NOT HAD MANY MILES ON IT IN THE LAST THREE YEARS. ITS A EASY INSURE SINCE IT STARTED AS A PRODUCTION BIKE BUT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE IT NOW. THE BIKE WAS BOUGHT NEW BY ME IN 2004 AND JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ON IT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO SOMETHING CUSTOM. THE FORKS ARE CUSTOM, IT HAS CUSTOM HANDMADE ONE OF A KIND PIPES, HAND MADE CUSTOM DUAL AIR INTAKES THAT IS ONE OF A KIND, THE JUGS WERE POWDER COATED ORANGE TO ACCENT COLORS, HAND GRIPS AND PART OF THE COLLAR WERE POWDER COATED, JUST TOO MUCH TO LIST. SEE THE PICTUES THE PAINT JOB WAS CUSTOM DONE AT TIME OF PURCHASE. THE BIKE DOES NOT HAVE A SPEED OD. ON IT OR FRONT TURN SIGNALS MY CHOICE. THE MOTOR REMAINS STOCK AS A S&S 124 WITH A DYNO ON IT TURNS 120 HP AND APPROX 130 LBS OF TORQUE, SHE DOES SCREAM. MY LIC PLATE NAMES HER WELL SKELATOR, HE MANS ARCH ENEMY. LOL I GURANTEE YOU WILL BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION, IVE HAD POLICE OFFICERS STOP ME JUST TO CHECK HER OUT, AND SHE ALWAYS GATHERS A CROWD AT BIKE EVENTS, AND THE GIRLS JUST LOVE IT. Mon, 24 Nov 2008Normally when I think of a custom chopper, I envision something like Wyatt’s Captain America bike or even retro re-creations like the Harley Davidson Cross Bones. After all the act of chopping normally referred to forks and frames, not chopping wood. A unique ride recently added to eBay breaks from this tradition with a wooden hot rod built around the engine and transmission from a 1952 Ariel Square 4 motorcycle.
Resident Evil Inspired Chopper
Mon, 07 Dec 2009Capcom, the creator of the popular video game series “Resident Evil”, has teamed up with Savage Cycles out of Maryland, to create this zombie killer custom chopper. The project is scheduled to be completed in January, the limited bikes to be built has no price tag at this point but I am sure it will be steep. Check out some preview shots and a list of some interesting features. From the Capcom blog: The bike is low-slung and mean, armored but fast, with quick access to a number of “weapons” and items, such as an airsoft shotgun and pistol, “health sprays” and a combat knife strapped to the front fork.
Jesse James to Appear on American Chopper
Thu, 27 Oct 2011In a press release from Discovery Channel, Jesse James is slated to appear in two episodes of American Chopper in December on Discovery Channel. The release states that the two-episode event is a head-to-head build off between Orange County Choppers, headlined, of course, by the notoriously famous Teutul family, and James.
