2010 Custom Built Motorcycles Chopper on 2040-motos

One of a kind, Always a show winner Buell Hardtail Chopper.
Started out life as a perfectly good running, driving 1999 Buell X-1 Lightning (101HP) with 5500 miles.

The frame is from Twisted Choppers LLC in Florida and sports a +2 stretch -1 neck.

 Dozens and dozens of custom one off parts were made for this bike.
Tank, Rear fender, oil tank, offset spocket and support, seat, triple tree, forward controls, rear rotor, air cleaner, etc were all custom designed and made in my shop. The tank was custom made for this bike and has hidden mounts and a pop up filler. The tank and rear fender are hydro dipped Carbon Fiber, The front fender and front fairing are Real Carbon Fiber.

Everything works as it should, The factory speedo and tach and all the indicator lights work. The custom seat features a Kevlar base and Gel inserts for comfort.

 Factory PM rear wheel was widened to 9 inched by Kosman and sports a 260 Metzeler tire.
Everything is new on this bike.

This bike won 1st Place at the 2010 World of Wheels Show when it was 1st built.
 It won 1st place in the Chopper class and Best Engineered overall at the 2016 World of Wheels.
It is legally titled in WI as a 1999 Buell for insurance purposes and comes with a Certificate of Origin from Twisted Choppers.
