Can-Am SPYDER description

I am selling my 2012 Can Am Spyder RS with electronic shift transmission. This bike is in excellent condition although it is not brand new. You might be able to find a small scratch here or there but  there is nothing that I noticed other than the mark on the handle bars and the front air dam. Please let me know if you need any close up pictures of anything and I will either add to the auction or email directly. I purchased this bike in July from an older gentleman that took it to Florida last year for the winter. He purchased it brand new here in Indiana and trailered it to Florida. He put around 2,100 miles on it and sold it to me due to health reasons. The reason I have only put 400 miles on the machine, and the reason for selling, is due to my wrists and hands. I can only ride a few miles before stopping due to not being able to feel my wrists and hands. This bike comes with 3 windshields (low, med and the one in the pictures which is the tallest),air deflectors, foot boards, Can Am cover with bag and the extended warranty till October of 2016 which is transferrable. The bike was broken in correctly and the service was completed on time at a Can Am dealer. I really enjoy riding this bike but since I can't really enjoy riding much I can put the money to better use. I am willing to take $13,500 for the bike with all of the accessories listed above which is much less than I paid just a few months ago but my loss is your gain. You can take a look at my feedback and see for yourself that I am an honest seller. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or additional pictures and good luck bidding.

Bombardier Designs Alternative-Fuel Unicycle

Tue, 17 Mar 2009

Not only has Bombardier designed and built snowmobiles, planes, trains and the Can-Am Spyder, the privately held Quebec-based company also tinkers with prototypes like the Embrio – the French Canadian answer to the Segway Human Transporter and resembles closely to the “Uno”. Unlikely to ever see actual production, this one-wheeled concept uses gyroscopic technology to balance its rider. The vehicle was allegedly designed to demonstrate what we bipedal humanoids might be using for transportation in the year 2025.

Wesll Quad Prototype

Mon, 09 Feb 2009

A number of manufacturers have tinkered with various three-wheeled motorcycle applications over the years. Companies like Piaggio, Can-Am, Brudeli and even Harley-Davidson have produced unique trikes with ranging levels of success. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.

Can-Am Spyder RT-5 Highlight Video

Thu, 05 Nov 2009

In September, Fonzie brought us a report on the 2010 Spyder RT direct from the Can-Am beehive in Valcourt, Quebec, Canada. With more carrying capacity than ANY motorcycle on the market — even some automobiles —- Can-Am sent touring guru and friend-of-MO, Fred Rau, on a tour of Canada and the United States to promote the new 5-speed luxury touring roadster. For those of you not following Fred’s blog @ SpyderFred.com, here’s a little taste of the scenes and opinions he encountered on his great many miles.
