Bultaco Metralla description

Here's your chance to own a classic and highly collectible Bultaco Metralla.

This Metralla was restored 9 years ago by renowned Bultaco specialists Lynn MobleyIn the 1960s you would most likely see on the track was powered by a 250cc single bikes. They were also light and nimble, but the kind of fast you could squeeze out of a 250 was of a different sort than provided by today's motor bikes. The Metralla was revered in its day and still stands up to todays light weight motorbikes.  A factory rated the MK2 at a conservative 27hp. That's less than a 10:1 power to weight ratio. Yes this bike is fast.

This wonderful example was restored by Lynn Mobley of Minden Nevada 9 years ago. Nothing was spared in the restoration of this Mk2 Metralla. For people in-the-know- this model Bultaco is sought after by top Bultaco collectors.  This race bred road bike goes like the dickens.

I've brought the bike out of storage when I recently purchased if from a good friend whom the MK2 was originally restored. I've gone through the fuel system and serviced the bike so it's road ready. Prime the Amal carb. and the bike fires right up. I will post a video of it running int he next few days.

I have the pristine factory owners manual.

Please as many question as you like. Happy to respond within hours.

I happy  arrange transport world wide.

Crating the bike will be an added 250.00 USD for export.

This sale is final and with no expressed warranty. I am in Los Angeles if you would like to see the MK2 in person or have a motorcycle specialist come see it for you,  have a full shop with tools and lifts to accommodate.
