Hero MotoCorp Launches 125cc Ignitor in India

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Ignitor, a 125cc premium model based on the CBF Stunner from former partner turned rival Honda. The Ignitor is one of the final models Hero will produce with technology licensed from Honda, and it is expected to bridge the gap before Hero introduces its own new models (with help from a gentleman named Erik Buell.) Like the Stunner, the Hero Ignitor is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine. Both models claim 11hp and 8 ft-lb., but the Ignitor reaches its peak torque at 5000 rpm while the Stunner has to spin up to 6500 rpm.

I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. AMSOIL Giving Away a 2014 Erik Buell Racing 1190RX

Synthetic lubricant company AMSOIL has been a sponsor of Erik Buell Racing for a few years now, backing the fellow Wisconsin-based company’s racing efforts since 2011. Now that EBR has started mass production of the 1190RX streetbike, AMSOIL is continuing the partnership by giving one away. A 2014 EBR 1190RX is the grand prize of the AMSOIL Building Legends Sweepstakes, which runs now through Nov.
