2006 Custom Built Motorcycles Bobber (2006)
Covington speed demon hardtail bobber with chrome springer front end,114ci polished TP engineering motor,Baker 5 speed transmission & BDL belt drive.Motor puts out 113hp & 121ft.lbs torque,makes over 100ft.lbs of torque at 1700rpm.Bike has under 3200 miles on it & is in excellent condition except for some paint failure around the gas cap.These bikes came with a sportster style gas cap that vented from the underside onto the paint,it has been replaced with a covingtons tri-bar spinner cap that is vented on top to prevent this from getting any worse.The bike is VERY fast & not for newbie riders,it gathers an insane amount of attention where ever it goes.These do not come up for sale often & I looked a long time before finding this one,I am offering this at a very low opening bid because I have an opportunity to buy a car that I have always wanted from a friend of mine,so I am only going to list this a couple of times & if it doesn't sell I will gladly keep it.2016-08-16 04:58:09Gardnerville, Nevada, United States324000 -

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

2014 Lito Sora Electric Motorcycle Entering Production

Described as a cafe racer with a bobber twist, the Lito SORA claims a top speed of 118 mph and a range of 124 miles in the city and more than 52 miles at highway speeds. Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
