BSA B25 tech info
BSA B25 description
Stored for about 10 years in Texas under a tarp and in remarkably good shape. I got it running but really want to focus my energy on other projects I have lined up and I have more experience (and the right tools) with Japanese rather than British bikes. It takes a little effort to get started if it has been longer than 3 or 4 days but if ridden regularly it starts after several kicks when cold and after 1 or 2 when warm. New: Idle jet Throttle cable Battery Pazon electronic ignition (replaced points/condenser) Tympanium voltage regulator (replaced regulator/rectifier/zener diode) Fuel petcocks Fuel line Air filter Fork gaiters (need installed) Adjusted: Valves Timing Rebuilt carburetor Chain Needs: Probably a new clutch and brake cable but existing ones are functional New oil lines - it currently leaks from the outflow or inflow line...not sure which Speedo repair Battery cover Rear brake light switch Small tear in the seat Paint is not professional, please look at the photos I have a video of it starting and running that I can email or text. I can also provide other photos upon request. It has a title but the previous owner filled out the info on back without transferring it so I'm not entirely clear the best way to get new registration. I will consider a trade/partial trade for an LS engine/transmission combo as well |
