2014 BMW S1000RR, The bike is very well kept, only 4690 miles on the clock, always garaged, in awesome shape. Little upgrades on the bike, nothing mechanical: T-Rex sliders, rizoma oil cap, rizoma engine guard on Rx side and yoshimura on the Lx side, red pinstripe on the wheels, aluminum rear spools, license plate relocation kit, flush mount blinkers (all 4), foldable, adjustable and extendable brake and clutch levers, radiator protector, dark windscreens, all the fairings bolts have been replaced with Pro-bolt black anodized aluminum bolts. I only have a few 100 miles on the tires. The bike comes with the OEM clear screen and BMW bike cover.

Naked BMW S1000RR Spotted Testing in Italy – Video

Italian site Motociclismo.it has published a video of what appears to be a naked version of the BMW S1000RR being tested on public roads in Rovereto, Italy. The test model was dressed in camouflage and appears to be close to being ready for production, especially compared to the earlier prototype spotted testing last summer. We expect BMW will officially unveil this S1000RR-based streetfighter at either the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, or the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, later this fall.

BMW Warns of Potential Defect in 2014 R1200RT Suspension

BMW is issuing a warning to owners of the 2014 R1200RT with the Dynamic ESA option about a potential defect with the rear suspension. No formal recall has been announced at the moment; BMW is calling it a precautionary measure, though that may change in time or depending on the market. According to BMW, the piston rod of the rear spring strut could break.

Schaller Replacing von Kuenheim as Head of BMW Motorrad

BMW is shuffling its management team, with current head of the its motorcycle business Hendrik von Kuenheim getting reassigned to the automotive side of the company. He will be replaced by Stephan Schaller on June 1 in a domino-effect series of reassignments. Pictured to the left in the picture above, Von Kuenheim has been in charge of the motorrad portfolio since 2008.
