Bike has been meticulously maintained. Service records since new from PO. Regular oil/filter changes, had its 12k service (with valve check) done at San Jose BMW and comes with a near new set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso's.
In addition to the mods that are installed, it comes with all stock parts (exhaust, tail, windscreen), should you wish to go back to full stock. Bike has never been down. It comes with 2 keys, original books and an Excel sheet detailing all the work that has been done on the bike. Location: San Jose (I'm willing to deliver within 150mi at buyer's expense). Wed, 14 Mar 2012That scraping sound you can hear is a mixture of a knee slider and the GoPro camera housing grazing the tarmac at Mugello. The footage was shot on-board the BMW Motorrad France Team Thevent machine ridden by Hugo Marchand, in testing ahead of the 2012 Endurance World Championship. He managed to wreck the housing that holds the GoPro camera after only three laps.
BMW Acquires Original Factory
Wed, 26 Feb 2014BMW has acquired a 3.2-acre parcel of land that includes the company’s original factory. Built in 1918, the historic site in the Milbertshofen district of Munich, Germany, housed BMW’s original aircraft engine production plant. The company says the land will become the new home for BMW Group Classic, a subsidiary that documents BMW’s past.

Tue, 09 Oct 2012You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
