1967 BMW R60/2 in running perfect condition. All matching numbers. Equipped with large touring tank, 2 volt conversion with H4 headlamp,bar end turn signals, eep finned extra capacity oil pan, 7/8 final drive, ebuilt wheels with SS spokes and chrome steel rims, Recent ultrasonic cleaning of carburetors and petcock rebuild, ll fluids changed. Starts easily, ngine quite and smooth,transmission quite and shifts well. Paint mostly original,front fender appears to have been repainted, ut shows no damage. This rig handles quite well and is a good match up. Price is $5,570 SHIPPED.

BMW C650GT and C600 Sport Recalled for Faulty Timing Chain Tensioner

BMW has initiated a recall on 2012-2014 C600 Sport and C650GT scooters because of a problem with their timing chain tensioners. As of this writing, recalls have been announced in Canada and Germany but not for the U.S., though we expect the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will announce a similar recall shortly.

V.I.P treatment for first Dainese D-Air customers

To celebrate the release of the D-Air race suit in the UK, Dainese are offering the first 20 customers to order a complete V.I.P treatment at the upcoming World Superbike round at Silverstone. The iconic safety brand will have each of the customer's suits personally tailored, with measurements undertaken by a Dainese D-Air engineer from the factory in Italy. Following this, the first 20 customers to register will receive a hospitality lunch, garage tours of the Aprilia, BMW and Kawasaki teams with the opportunity to meet the Dainese riders and rub well protected shoulders with the big names of the WSB paddock.

As a motorcyclist I’ve made it my duty to stop and lend assistance any time I see a fellow rider that looks like they’re in need, a sort of paying it forward mentality for the many times I found myself in need of a hand. In most instances the rider stopped on the road’s edge had pulled to the side temporarily to resolve an innocuous issue, but occasionally a rider genuinely needed my help. In either case the riders were grateful that a fellow motorcyclist was checking up on them.
