OFFERED, THE CLASSIC TOASTER TANK BMW. THIS BIKE SHOWS HIGH MILAGE BUT HAS HAD ENGINE WORK DONE 15 YEARS AGO AS TOLD TO ME THE THE OWNER. MOST NOTABLY WAS THE VALVE SEAT RETROFIT ALONG WITH OTHER TOP END WORK.. THIS MOTORCYCLE LOOKS GREAT & RUNS THE SAME.. THE COLOR IS A PETROL BLUE REMINISENT OF THE FIRST 100RS BIKES.. CHROME PANELS & SIDE COVERS ARE VERY NICE.. THE PIN STRIPES ARE BURIED BENEATH THE CLEAR COAT....... THIS BIKE WAS STORED FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS EFFECTIVELY BUT WAS STARTED AND USED WHEN THE OWNERS VACATIONED FROM GERMANY.. ////// IT IS MISSING THE KICK START LEVER FOR SOME REASON. // THE TURNSIGNALS MAY OR MAYNOT BE CORRECT... THE TANK HAD BEEN TREATED IN THE PAST( UGH!!), AND IS FAILING.. THIS IS NOT AFFECTING THE FUEL FLOW AND MAY OR MAY NOT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED IN THE FUTURE... THE TIRES WHILE SPORTING GREAT TREAD HAVE SOME MINOR CHECKING STARTING ON THE SIDEWALLS,,, I DID A 100 MILE TRIP WITHOUT INCIDENT. <<<<<< NOTHING FANCY , JUST A STRAIGHT FORWARD SLASH 5 FROM BACK IN THE DAY... Used Review: Clover GT3 jacket
Fri, 01 Aug 2008I’ve been wearing this waterproof textile jacket since March and it’s performed very well. The silver colour shows up dirt something rotten, there’s a stark lack of useful pockets and the cut is quite square, but as a jacket to keep the cold and water out it’s been right up to the job. It’s my daily commuting top, one of those jackets you throw on without thinking about it, and now that it’s summer I can’t see the point in getting a replacement anytime soon.
BMW Warns of Potential Defect in 2014 R1200RT Suspension

No formal recall has been announced at the moment; BMW is calling it a precautionary measure, though that may change in time or depending on the market. According to BMW, the piston rod of the rear spring strut could break.
NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
