1999 BMW R1200C nice shape 21000 mile runs great,daily rider so mileage may change.the bike is in good shape and needs a good cleaning,but will do that this week end .Im just driving it to work this week and then I'll take care of that.It hase a few scuffs on the top of the bag lids Also the small bar that supports the blinker has lost its finish on the right side.I dont know why but see photo's of both the bags and the blinker support.There are a few small chips on the frame.It has good tires with about 80 % thread. every thing works as it should.The bike is not black it is a verry verry dark purple or what ever they call purple these days. This bike is a 1999 and is in good shape but not show room so please look at photo's good and ask any questions you need. good luck and thanks for looking

Fri, 27 Apr 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced the recall for the 2012 BMW S1000RR, providing more information about the problem. According to documents released by NHTSA, the bolts on the connecting rods in the BMW S1000RR may come loose because of an anti-corrosive agent applied to the bolts. The anti-corrosive agent may effect the bolt torque, potentially leading them to come loose, particularly at high temperatures or rpms.
Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released
Wed, 18 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
