For auction is my 1966 R 27 BMW. The machine was purchased by me and was going to be thoroughly restored. As time passed and my medical practice and family consumed more of time, this machine is just sitting here in my garage. It runs great and has a fresh engine upper end rebuild according to the man I purchased it from. The bike is a 7.0 cosmetically. It could make a nice rider as is but if you want a polished queen she will need to be restored. I would describe this machine as a daily use vintage bike but one that is an ideal candidate for restoration if that is desired. I have my reserve at what I feel is below market value so I think it is a good value for someone wishing to restore the machine. If you have questions please feel free to email me. I do not know the full history of the machine but I will answer all questions to the best of my ability. I have a 100% rating and want the buyer to be fully satisfied. Thanks for your interest.

2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure Revealed
Mon, 07 Oct 2013BMW has updated its R1200GS Adventure for 2014, giving it similar updates introduced on the R1200GS including the liquid-cooled 1170cc boxer engine. The more off-road capable version of the GS now has more power than ever before, as well as the option of coming with BMW’s semi-active suspension. BMW Announces Returning 2013 Models – All with ABS Standard
