    The good: I've got a beautiful rare 1959 R26 BMW up for sale that's all original (all matching) with a fresh top end rebuild on a 250cc motor and trans rebuild ($3,500 worth of work completed by Scottie's Workshop in Santa Clara, Ca.) Bunch of upgrades too like new handle bars, single side mirror, new exhaust pipe, points/plug, fluids, black and yellow plate that reads "1959 BMW", lots of receipts, manual, everything works, and clear title in hand. The bike gets tons of thumbs up from all kinds of riders and is a great foreground for any photo op. Every time I pull over to get off the bike it gets a lot of attention and cool conversations ensue.

       2010 BMW S1000RR currently set up for track days or club racing.  Suspension is stock but has been revalved and set up for a 170 lb rider.  Bike is very stable and handles well at speed, no issues at all.  Motor is stock , only mods to bike are Bazzaz engine management system with tune, Sato rearsets and Arrow full system.   I have most stock parts including signals and pssgr foot pegs so converting it back to street trim shouldn't be too difficult.. Bike is currently registered in CA as a non op track bike.  Cosmetically it has been on the track has some scuffs and dings , body work is not perfect, but it is priced accordingly.   I know very little about the bikes history.  I bought it with 10000 miles on it from an AFM racer who used it as I have , as a street and occas track day bike.  He claims to have never raced the bike or laid it down, but I cant guarantee this.  I have never crashed on this bike and put another nearly 9k trouble free miles on it.   I just did the very expensive 18000 mile service.  The bike has no warranty expressed or implied, however if you find that I have misrepresented it in any way you can return it to me within 1 wk of purchase.  If you are local, contact me for a test ride.   Bike is super fast , more than I can handle for sure .  Dunlop slicks have about 10 laps on them.  Email any questions or request for test rides.. reserve is super low, someone is going to get a smoking deal    Thanks for looking   pellis@bak.rr.com.  Bike is relisted due to non payment.  If you have less than 5 positive feedbacks please contact before bidding or bid will be cancelled.  I reserve the right to cancel any bidders bid at any time.  Would strongly prefer to sell locally and have prospective buyer see and examine bike.  I will not ship to any countries except continental us, and shipping is the buyers responsibility though I will assist on my end.

    For sale is my like new 2016 BMW R1200RS.  This is the exciting new model that is both a continuation of the BMW RS tradition and a departure from the latest BMW touring bikes.  One would expect a stripped down RT with all the touring amenities and the telelever front suspension, but instead BMW based the RS on the latest R1200R, so a standard fork is fitted to the front and lightness is the key: no motorized adjustable windshield, even the saddlebags are lighter than the touring bikes.  It turns out that at my age, I need to be riding a couch, so I should have gotten an RT.  For all the info you need on this new model, Revzilla has an excellent review. Fully loaded with all available options, the Touring Package, Keyless Ride, GPS prep and Gear Assist Pro.  As options, the bike comes with OEM hard saddlebags and engine guards.  Has 8633 miles, both the 600 mile and 6600 mile services were done at A & S BMW in Roseville, where the bike was first purchased.

    Beautiful and rather rare 1984 R-80-ST.  It runs very well.  Has been garaged and started frequently, and ridden in the last 6 months.  I was told it is a 1983 even though the paper work says 1984.  Speedometer reads 373 miles.  It is stock except for: It has been lowered for the needs of a doctor who owned it before we bought it back. The seat, shocks and tires have been modified to lower the entire bike making it a very nice motorcycle for a shorter rider or as a first bike. Nothing has been altered that cannot be taken back to stock.  The frame has not been altered at all.

BMW Reports Q2 2014 Financial Results

BMW reported an 11.2% growth in motorcycle sales revenue for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014, thanks to a new best-ever quarterly record of 42,259 motorcycles sold. The record sales quarter also led to a record of 70,978 motorcycles sold in the first half of 2014, the most motorcycles BMW has sold in a six-month period in the company’s 90-year history in the business. The second quarter sales result represents a 5.1% increase on the 40,209 motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year.

BMW HP4 Gets New ABS that Works in Corners

BMW has developed a new anti-lock braking system designed to work when a motorcycle is leaned over into a corner. The new ABS Pro system will initially be offered as a retrofit upgrade on the BMW HP4 sportbike, but it’s likely only a matter of time before the technology becomes available on other models. The ABS Pro uses the same sensors already employed by BMW’s Dynamic Traction Control and Dynamic Damping Control electronic suspension, both of which are already available on the HP4.

BMW is updating its big six-cylinder touring bikes with traction control as standard equipment and a number of new optional add-ons including keyless remote ignition. Previously available as part of BMW’s factory-installed Safety Package option, the Dynamic Traction Control system will now be standard on all 2015 K1600GT and K1600GTL models. The system continuously monitors rear wheel traction during acceleration, stepping in when it senses excessive wheel spin.
