2012 Bmw R-series on 2040-motos
BMW R-Series description
2012 BMW R1200RT with only 10,100 miles. I purchased the bike two years ago from the original owner (an older lady) in California, and have done a fair bit of traveling around CA and NV with it. Since moving to North Dakota in 2016 I haven't had much free time, so the bike has been sitting in my garage.
Everything on the bike works properly. The motor runs smooth and quiet, shifts are smooth, basically everything works like it's new. The tires Michelin Pilot Roads with a few thousand miles (worn in a nice round profile, so there's a lot of rubber left in the middle). The bike was just serviced and valves checked at 10,000 miles. It also has a brand new battery, installed 11/05/16.
I believe it has every available option:
-Heated seats (front and rear independently)
-FM and Satellite radio
-ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), damping is adjustable on-the-fly, and preload is electrically adjustable.
-Matching side cases
-OEM BMW tank bag
-A second "low" drivers seat
The bad news is that it does have a few scratches. The original owner dropped the bike in her driveway. Consequently, the left valve cover and side case have cosmetic scratches on them. There is no functional damage, the side case still closes and locks as it's supposed to.
I have a clean title in hand, in my name. Located in Fargo ND. I would be happy to accommodate a "fly and ride", or may be able to deliver the bike within the continental US for $0.54 per mile.
Thanks for looking. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

Instead, here is a picture of the S1000RR without a fairing.] Spy photographers have captured photos of a new naked roadster believed to be based on the BMW S1000RR. Shot at a BMW test facility, the photos reveal a half-faired motorcycle with the S1000RR’s engine.Fri, 22 Nov 2013
Coming in 2014 is an all-new range of motorcycle tires from Michelin, available in three versions: the Michelin Pilot Road 4, Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT and Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail. Covering virtually every category of sport-touring motorcycle, the Pilot Road 4 line is well suited for motorcycles over 600cc. They were designed to deliver maximum safety in the most common conditions of use, especially on wet roads and in particular when braking. In its press release Michelin also claims extended tire life, which we assume is in comparison to the Pilot Road 3.Thu, 02 May 2013
BMW reported worldwide sales of 24,732 motorcycles over the first three months of 2013, a slight increase from the 24,373 motorcycles sold in the same quarter in 2012. These figures include sales of 1,110 Husqvarna motorcycles before BMW sold the company to KTM boss Stefan Pierer. Sales revenue from BMW Motorrad however was down 2.7% to 436 million euros (US$569.2 million) over the quarter from 448 million euros last year.
