2012 Bmw R-series on 2040-motos
BMW R-Series description
2012 BMW R1200RT with only 10,100 miles. I purchased the bike two years ago from the original owner (an older lady) in California, and have done a fair bit of traveling around CA and NV with it. Since moving to North Dakota in 2016 I haven't had much free time, so the bike has been sitting in my garage.
Everything on the bike works properly. The motor runs smooth and quiet, shifts are smooth, basically everything works like it's new. The tires Michelin Pilot Roads with a few thousand miles (worn in a nice round profile, so there's a lot of rubber left in the middle). The bike was just serviced and valves checked at 10,000 miles. It also has a brand new battery, installed 11/05/16.
I believe it has every available option:
-Heated seats (front and rear independently)
-FM and Satellite radio
-ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), damping is adjustable on-the-fly, and preload is electrically adjustable.
-Matching side cases
-OEM BMW tank bag
-A second "low" drivers seat
The bad news is that it does have a few scratches. The original owner dropped the bike in her driveway. Consequently, the left valve cover and side case have cosmetic scratches on them. There is no functional damage, the side case still closes and locks as it's supposed to.
I have a clean title in hand, in my name. Located in Fargo ND. I would be happy to accommodate a "fly and ride", or may be able to deliver the bike within the continental US for $0.54 per mile.
Thanks for looking. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.Tue, 28 Dec 2010
When I first saw this video, I thought it had to be a trick. Like the Gillette video of Roger Federer knocking a can off a man’s head with a tennis serve or the Nike ad with a couple of Dutch soccer players and an air vent, the first reaction is it has to be fake. But then I remember this is BMW stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer we’re talking about here.Fri, 17 Jan 2014
I’m not usually much for celebrity postings, but consider this a rare exception. Why? Because Mila Jovovich.
