BMW R-Series description

2009 R1200GS

Has been a great motorcycle, but I'm looking to upgrade.  Vario Cases, GPS, everything in good working order!

Put TKC70's on last year Approx 4k miles on them.  plenty of tread left.

Bike has a few minor dings, as would be expected with 40k miles.

Runs like a top, starts every single time.  I haven't had a single problem with this motorcycle.

Sticker on the bags will be removed prior to delivery.

A recall affecting 18 different BMW motorcycle models from seven model years has been announced for the U.S., affecting 50,184 motorcycles. At issue is a potential leak in the fuel pumps or auxiliary fuel pumps on 2005-2011 BMW R series models, 2005-2012 K series models, 2006-2010 HP2 models and 2010-2011 S1000RR sportbikes. A similar recall was announced last month in Canada, affecting 6,325 motorcycles, and we knew it was a matter of time before the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced one for the U.S.

As a lover of two wheels, I like to pedal my bicycle to stay in shape when I’m not riding a motorcycle. And in the bicycle world, much like the motorcycle world, there’s a subset of riders who often get snarky looks from the rest of us. Few are more polarizing than those riding recumbent bicycles you know, the ones where you’re practically laying down while pedaling.
