BMW R-Series tech info
BMW R-Series description
I bought this former BMW police bike with under 26K miles, from a dealer in Dallas, Tx last season, and I love it! Unfortunately, being 5'5" tall, this BMW is way too big for me. It's too tall in the saddle, so regrettably I have to let her go, no choice.
Runs beautifully, no mechanical issues. Tires are like new, electric windshield, electronic brakes. extra lights, and more. Extra large oil pan, 840 watt alternator, two batteries, these bikes are an upgrade from regular civilian models... Body has some blemishes, hardly noticeable, nothing major, .otherwise, a beautiful bike.... See pics...

BMW Unveils E-Scooter Concept
Fri, 01 Jul 2011As we expected BMW has revealed information about a new scooter model, releasing pictures of a new electric maxi-scooter concept. The BMW E-Scooter was developed with funding form Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development. The E-Scooter was created with two goals in mind: to offer performance comparable to a 600cc combustion engine-powered maxi-scooter and to offer sufficient range for an urban commuter. BMW wanted the E-Scooter to provide enough power and speed for freeway passing and climbing steep slopes even with a pillion passenger.
Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.
Wed, 08 Dec 2010Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old. Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
