bike is sold as-is wear appropriate for a motorcycle with 27k miles

I am 2nd adult owner -- purchased from original adult SoCal owner at ~12,000 miles.

* factory dual power outlets for rider/passenger electric vests, etc.
* factory heated grips
* factory adjustable height windshield
* throttlemeister speed control
* Sargent custom front/rear seat (see Items of Note below)
* dual-USB power outlet at handlebars
* sale includes Garmin navigation system powered by USB
* ~2000 miles on front/rear Dunlap Sportmax Roadsmarts

Not pictured but included:
   - BMW original side and top panniers
   - Givi E55  ( major scuffs from storage ) with wireless unlock
      - top rack and back rest
      - Givi rear rack currently installed
         - i.e. if you want to use BMW rear pannier you will need BMW mounting hardware
         - I switched the Givi E55 between this BMW and my Ducati MultiStrada

Maintenance (per BMW schedule) since my ownership performed by BMW cert techs at DesmotoSport in San Francisco.  Complete suspension overhaul (front forks inserts/springs), rear Ohlin refresh) at 24k mi.

Items of Note:
* left mirror has roadrash related to my perception of reality
      ( see additional pics )
* paint discoloration below (riders) left hand side of front lamp
   - paint is dull; at close range appears bronze/gold; no mech has been able to explain
   - I am unable to create an image that accurately shows the discoloration
        - in other words it's hard to see
* ~3" scratch below left front lamp; see included pictures, look close
* Sargent front seat needs repair
   - orig owner installed back rest but cut tab securing front seat to frame in process
       - seat must be sent to Sargent to restore tab; fix is $75 + shipping to/from
         - I have ridden 16k miles with seat unsecured.
             - original front and back seat included with sale
* PIAA driving lights work great when working but burn fuses; will need further assessment

This bike rides like a dream.  Since relocating from the SF Bay area I just don't ride enough to justify.  When I lived in SF I rode up/down the peninsula ( skyline / santa cruz, hwy 1, hwy 9, etc).  In between jobs I took this bike through Northern Northern California, Utah, Death Valley and back.  With the 1149cc engine this bike produces enough torque to haul whatever amount of gear you want to pack the panniers with.  The BMW 1150RT frame is stiff enough perform through the twisties with ease.

California Titled, Nevada Registered

Buyer responsible for logistics but I will provide reasonable support with your shipper.  I will also offer pick up service from Reno (RNO) airport if you want to fly in and ride bike home.

Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.

BMW clothing offer an array of sizing, not just ‘small, medium and large’ of other manufacturers. They will let you pre-order a choice of size combinations to try with no obligation to purchase. As for the quality you’d think you were on a visit to Nasa with everything they’ve thrown into their textiles – Gore-tex laminated with Armacor provides abrasion and heat resistance.
