This is a great bike. I have used for several years, a 2003 model with backrest chest, full faring and saddle bags. 50 plus MPG. I have owned since 2009 then had 7200 miles on it now 73,000 miles just broke in. This brand of bike get well over 100,00 miles easy. Will meet serious offers within 100 miles for $50 charge up front. This bike is an 8 out of 10 and has been will maintained, Time to send to a good home that will love as much as I have, would keep just to many hobbies. it has a scratch on right bag near lock bag popped open on one trip you can see in last photo or on zoom. BMW Launches New National Television Ad Campaign – Video

BMW Motorrad USA has launched a new national ad campaign, its first in the U.S., according to the company, in over 20 years. The new ad campaign – “Feed Your Restless” – begins today, March 1, and will run more than 1,500 times through June on Velocity, Speed, Fuel TV, the Sportsman Channel, ESPN, ESPNews, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and the National Geographic Channel. BMW has produced four commercials for the campaign, three that will run nationally and a fourth for dealers to use for their local markets.

James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing

Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.

As a motorcyclist I’ve made it my duty to stop and lend assistance any time I see a fellow rider that looks like they’re in need, a sort of paying it forward mentality for the many times I found myself in need of a hand. In most instances the rider stopped on the road’s edge had pulled to the side temporarily to resolve an innocuous issue, but occasionally a rider genuinely needed my help. In either case the riders were grateful that a fellow motorcyclist was checking up on them.
