2001 BMW K1200 LT - LUXURY TOURING BIKE - ONLY 26,000miS!!! $6,600.00 This is a beautiful, well loved and garage kept Touring Bike! It's an extremely comfortable bike to ride with very impressive fuel milage for a bike this size! It averages just over 50mpg around town and up to the low 40s on the highway. It accelerates from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 122.41 mph. Its a water cooled, 1172cc, InLine - four with a DUAL OVERHEAD CAM. Their are many bells and whistles on this model which include: cruise control, hand and seat warmers, electric winshield, cd system with six disc cd changer, radio, cassette player, 6.34 gallon fuel tank, automatic start and lots of lockable storage. Odometer reads only 26,000mis which equates to just over 2,160mis of use per year. This bike has been very well cared for. Its a beautiful blue in color with silver and black accents. BMW Recalls Several Models in Canada for Potential Fuel Leaks

Transport Canada has announced a recall on 18 BMW models across several model years spanning from 2005 to 2012 because of a risk of fuel leaks (the full list of models and model years is below). As of this posting, no recall has been announced for the U.S. but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) currently has an investigation open for a similar issue, potentially affecting 45,588 BMW motorcycles.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

Called the EX BMW because the two guys and girl behind this custom from Milan only kept the engine and part of the original frame. It uses wood, steel, laser machining, CNC and probably the odd bash with a hammer.
