2007-2008 BMW K1200R, K1200S Recalled for Foaming Brake Fluid
Tue, 16 Oct 2012BMW is issuing a recall on the 2007-2008 K1200S, K1200R and K1200R Sport models due to a problem with the front brake hydraulics. In long rides at high rpms, engine vibrations may cause the full front brake fluid to foam. This would occur at a very narrow rev range and only when the brake fluid reservoir is filled to maximum.

Tue, 23 Feb 2010I’d like to ramble on about a dozen different things relating to this video, but the 3- minute, 19-second clip speaks for itself. However, once the engine is revving at high rpm, watching the cams, finger followers and valve springs seemingly freeze in action due to the incredible speeds, I was reminded of that whole “Dude, the faster I went the more everything around me seemed to slow down,” experience we’ve all heard about or experienced. USA Four Corners Tour Tracked On Google Earth

In 2010, Bill Royal and his friend Larry, both members of the Iron Butt Association, decided to take part in the USA Four Corners Tour, sanctioned by the Southern California Motorcycling Association. He logged the trip on his GPS and later uploaded it to Google Earth.
