2014 BMW R1200RT Spied Testing

Thu, 21 Mar 2013 00:00:00 -0700

With the new 2013 BMW R1200GS now launching worldwide, it really should be no surprise BMW is working on more models using the GS’s new liquid-cooled boxer engine. A contributor to French site MotoMag happened upon a crew of test riders on heavily camouflaged test mules of what appears to be the 2014 BMW R1200RT. 40,000 bikers to descend on Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Fri, 01 Jun 2012 00:00:00 -0700

40,000 bikers are expected to head to the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen during the first week of July for the annual BMW Motorrad Days event and you can join them. Billed as a celebration of all things two-wheeled and BMW, the event gives you a chance to test ride all the current BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna models and see stunt-riding world champion Chris Pfeiffer and meet the BMW World Superbike riders. BMW have organised a UK rideout to the event and with over 200 places taken so far, time's running out to book your slot.

AC Schnizter lets rip with BMW S1000RR goodies

Wed, 24 Mar 2010 00:00:00 -0700

GERMAN TUNING house AC Schnitzer has unveiled a gaggle of bolt-on accessories for the BMW S1000RR superbike. The kit comprises of: Stealth silencer, Superbike steering conversion, clutch and brake levers, crashpads, Performance Sports Air Filter, mirror extensions, brake fluid - need we go on. There's even a top yoke mounted bar kit for those that don't want to reach down to the standard bike's low clip-ons.Sounds all fine and dandy if you've a heap of cash to chuck at what's already an expensive machine.Call us boring but isn't a 'standard' one good enough?
