This 2002 BMW K1200LT looks very good and runs great. I am starting this auction very low and without a reserve price, because the front speakers are intermittent and the heated seats and right heated grip are inoperative. To some people that may be a deal breaker and to others it's no big deal. I just believe in full disclosure with anything that I sell. The bike overall looks very good. The only things that keep it from looking perfect is the plastic that go over the gauges is scratched and a small plastic piece is broken from the corner of the top case lever, in addition to very minor ones in the fronts of both mirrors... BMW Announces Recall Campaign for K1600 Family Motorcycles
Fri, 25 Feb 2022The recall concerns all 2019-2020 BMW K1600 models due to the risk of rear suspension link failure caused by a manufacturing defect - the strength of the part does not meet the factory requirements. This linkage may be destroyed during normal road use, causing the rear of the motorcycle to fall onto the rear wheel. BMW dealers this spring will begin notifying owners of motorcycles that are subject of the recall campaign to visit an authorized dealership for a rear suspension linkage replacement.
