I’m selling my 2014 K1600 GTL Exclusive, One owner, fully loaded and just over 12k miles. I brought the bike over two years ago, leaving less than a year remaining of the extend warranty (Jun2017). The bike is in great condition and all services performed at dealer (11/16). All saddle bag inserts included. Ilium Works Highway Pegs, Ilium Passenger Sport board & Riser, Aeroflow wings and Mini wings BMW Amber LED Emblem Running and Turn Signal Light, Horn upgraded, Brake Light Flasher, Remus Slip-on titanium Cans. OEM cans not available. New battery installed. Tires replaced at 6k miles with Michelin Pilot 4GT front and rear. Rear brake pads replaced at 9800 miles. Her and his Schuberth C3 Pro helmets with BMW communication system available for sale. |

BMW Announces Recall Campaign for K1600 Family Motorcycles
Fri, 25 Feb 2022The recall concerns all 2019-2020 BMW K1600 models due to the risk of rear suspension link failure caused by a manufacturing defect - the strength of the part does not meet the factory requirements. This linkage may be destroyed during normal road use, causing the rear of the motorcycle to fall onto the rear wheel. BMW dealers this spring will begin notifying owners of motorcycles that are subject of the recall campaign to visit an authorized dealership for a rear suspension linkage replacement.

Thu, 03 Nov 2011The BMW Group reported a 14.8% increase in motorcycle revenue and a 6.5% increase in unit sales during the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. The German manufacturer sold 28,862 units over the quarter, including 26,312 BMW-branded motorcycles and 2,550 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary.
