BMW K-Series tech info
BMW K-Series description
Up for sale is a 2009 BMW K1300S Sport
Touring motorcycle. We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new BMW
motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This one owner BMW
motorcycle was recently acquired by our dealership. Our BMW
authorized
service department has performed an overall inspection & safety
check on this motorcycle along with verifying that there are no open
recalls from BMW Motorrad.
This K1300S has ABS Brakes, Heated Grips, ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), Gear Shift Assistant, Safety Package, TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor), On Board Computer, ASC (Automatic Stability Control), Luggage Grid, and Market Launch Equipment, all OEM from BMW. In addition, if you look closely at the pics, this motorcycle has Carbon Fiber bodywork trim all over the bike! The tail, the center panel around gas tank, front fender, and other bodywork trim parts are all Carbon Fiber Galore! This BMW has just over 36,192 miles and we hold a clean Title for this bike. This BMW in-line 4-cyclinder engine starts easy, runs strong, transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly, so this motorcycle should bring the next owner many thousands of worry free miles. Please feel free to call 617-275-3784, with any questions or concerns during normal business hours. Trades are accepted & financing is available for local buyers, but please inquire before bidding! |

BMW S1000RR at Nürburgring [video]
Wed, 02 Sep 2009BMW’s new S1000RR is one of the mostly highly anticipated sportbikes to come along in years. Its four-cylinder motor has a larger bore than anything else in its 1000cc class, plus all the latest racetrack goodies like a slipper clutch, variable-height intake manifolds and traction control. We’re still a few months away from testing it for ourselves, but we can across this great video that will give you a little insight into how this Beemer howls at top speed.
2011-2012 BMW K1600GT, K1600GTL Recalled in Canada for Engine Stall Issues
Thu, 31 Oct 2013BMW is recalling the 2011-2012 K1600GT and K1600GTL in Canada because of a risk of the engine stalling. At the moment, a recall has only been confirmed for Canada, though we expect a similar recall to come for the U.S. market from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Bridgestone BT-023 tyre tested
Fri, 19 Mar 2010Replacing the BT-021, the 023 has a uniform carcass construction but has two different compounds of rubber to alter its performance. The inner rubber is harder for increased life while the rubber on the tyre’s edges is softer for outright grip. On the brief dry sections of our ride the 023 seemed to get up to working temperature rapidly and delivered good dry grip, certainly more than enough for most road riders if you are honest about your riding ability.
