BMW K-Series description

Up for sale is a 2001 BMW K1200RSA Sport Touring motorcycle. We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new BMW motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This BMW motorcycle was recently acquired in trade by our dealership, toward the purchase of a new BMW motorcycle.  Our BMW authorized service department has performed an overall inspection & safety check on this motorcycle along with verifying that there are no open recalls from BMW Motorrad.

This K1200RSA has ABS Brakes, Heated Grips, High Handlebars, Side Hard Bags, and Trunk Box all OEM from BMW.  It also has the aftermarket upgraded Two Brothers Exhaust pipe that sounds awesome.  This BMW has just over 65,822 miles and we hold a clean Massachusetts Title for this bike.  This BMW engine starts easy, runs strong, transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly, so this motorcycle should bring the next owner years of happy riding.  Please feel free to call 617-275-3784, with any questions or concerns during normal business hours.  Trades are accepted for local buyers, but please inquire before bidding!

USA Four Corners Tour Tracked On Google Earth

Tue, 21 May 2013

Ain’t technology amazing? In 2010, Bill Royal and his friend Larry, both members of the Iron Butt Association, decided to take part in the USA Four Corners Tour, sanctioned by the Southern California Motorcycling Association. He logged the trip on his GPS and later uploaded it to Google Earth.

BMW Helps Vertically Challenged

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

No matter where they go or what they do, it seems that people who are vertically challenged always get the ‘short’ end of the stick, pardon the pun. Historically, if a pint-sized person wanted to get into the hobby of motorcycling, their choices were limited to bikes like the Suzuki Marauder, Ninja 250 or HD Sportster (the thought alone makes my back hurt.) BMW Motorrad now has good news for riders who either need or simply prefer a lower seat height, but do not want to compromise on model choice. BMW is the first motorcycle manufacturer to launch a range of models that can be ordered from the factory with lowered suspension – to provide customers with low seat height options.

EBR 1190 Wins 2011 European Superbike Championship

Wed, 02 Nov 2011

Harald Kitsch and the Pegasus Race Team has won its second championship on the EBR 1190RR, capturing the 2011 European Superbike open race class title. The championship follows Kitsch’s win in the 2010 Sound of Thunder V-Twin Championship on the Erik Buell Racing racebike. While the Sound of Thunder championship was won against other V-Twin machines, the European Superbike class included sportbikes from the Japanese Big Four, BMW, Aprilia and Ducati.
