BMW K-Series description

BMW K75 for sale. 53,000 miles. Three cylinder, well maintained, custom seat, and Parabellum faring. Original tool kit and manuals. Selling due to chronic shoulder issue. 

Speedometer not correct, was 43,000 in June, jumped 10K. Right saddle bag cracked, but repaired and useable.

Optional additional items: HJC Helmet with Sena Bluetooth. AGVSport padded pants, and Tourmaster padded jacket with gloves. Ask for prices.

30th Anniversary Edition BMW K1300S Announced for EICMA

BMW announced it will mark the 30th anniversary of its K series with a special edition K1300S. The 2013 BMW K1300S “30 Jahre K-Modelle” will be presented at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy in a couple of weeks’ time. Though perhaps not as popular as BMW‘s R series boxer models, the K series served as a platform for a number of technologies that were either new for BMW or new for the motorcycle industry.

Preliminary 2012 MotoGP Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.
