BMW F-Series description
This BMW F650 GS is loaded and in excellent condition. It has 2,805 miles (as of today, I am still riding it back and forth to work some to keep it exercised). It has never been dropped or wrecked and has been serviced at the local BMW dealer. This has the twin cylinder 798 CC engine that is liquid cooled with 6 speed transmission. It is the same engine that is in the BMW F700 and BMW F800, they are just tuned different depending on the model. This weighs just over 400 pounds dry and averages 55-60 MPG. It is a very fun and nimble bike with plenty of power. It is great on and off the pavement. The only thing I can find wrong with the bike is the light scruff mark by the gas tank that is shown in the picture. I do have a loan on it through my local employers credit union. I can work with them to send you the title. You can talk directly to them too as it is a small office with great service. I have 100% positive feedback. Local pickup only please unless we have talked. There is good airline service into Boise, Idaho and I can pick you up if you fly in and ride it home. The bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to remove it from here.

European Parliament Makes ABS Mandatory, Tighten Emissions Standards by 2016
Wed, 21 Nov 2012The European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of new rules that would increase emission standards and make anti-lock braking systems mandatory for all new large motorcycles, scooters and trikes and quads by 2016. The new regulations, which would still need approval from European Union member states, may only directly affect Europe, but they will have a wide-reaching affect on manufacturers’ product development for other markets. BMW, for example, has already made ABS standard for all its motorcycles for 2013.
John Surtees to Lead Classic Vehicle Parade Fundraiser
Fri, 03 May 2013Motorsports legend John Surtees will lead a parade of classic cars and motorcycles – including Surtees’ 1960 500cc Grand Prix Championship-winning MV Agusta – in his home town of Edenbridge, England. Surtees is the only person to have ever won world championships in both Grand Prix motorcycle racing and Formula One, and the parade will feature cars and bikes from his time as both a racer and a racing team owner. Surtees himself will drive the Team Surtees TS7, a F1 car constructed by his own team that debuted at the 1970 British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch.
