Aprilia Shiver description

Up for auction is an Aprilia Shiver 750 in as perfect condition as you will find.  This is a 2013 model, which I bought new in October of that year.  In the time, it has rolled a total of only 800 miles.  It has had one oil change in that time, just to remove the new/break in oil.

The bike is in show room condition.  Never dropped, Never abused.  The plastic is perfect- no scratches or zipper scuffs.  No stone dings or brake dust.  Headlight lens is perfect -no impacts or bug splats.  Stored indoors, so colors are bright -no fading, seat is perfect -no scuffs, tears or wear spots..   red stitching still bright and perfect.  Tires are perfect, brake discs are not even bedded in yet.  Heck, the factory grease on the chain is still grey (hasnt turned black yet).  Aluminum radiator guard still bright and hasnt even had a pant leg brush against it.  The bike is literally as she rolled off the show room floor -only with an extended test drive to break it in.

I bought the bike thinking Id ride it a lot more -and put on an Akrapovic exhaust ($1,100) and Giamoto rearsets ($475).  Medical conditions and life have gotten in the way, and I have to face the fact that I need to let someone else have fun on this.

Pictures should tell the rest of the story.  If you'd like to see the photos in their larger format -i'll be happy to send them to you directly.  Any questions, please ask.  I guarantee, you'll not find a nicer, better kept, better outfitted Aprilia Shiver for the money.

SUPER LOW OPENING BID.  NO RESERVE.  This is going to make someone extremely happy.

Local pickup is of course, preferred.  IF you are out of state -for a reasonable fee, i can get this to the Forward Air terminal in Miami, from which it can go anywhere on the planet  --however, all shipping and delivery particulars must be handled by the purchaser.  ($500 deposit due within 48hrs of auction close.)

800 miles on the clock, Akrapovic exhaust, trick rearsets...   perfect condition...  you cant go wrong.

thanks for looking.

Aprilia also gave the RSV4 a performance boost, claiming 181.5 hp and 86.3 ft-lb.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

Charge Up you iPhone While You Ride

Fri, 12 Feb 2010

Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlet’s plug and play systems. “Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices.
