Up for sale is my very clean 2013 Aprilia RSV4R. I have owned this bike since Febuary of 2014 and it has been great. With my children getting older I have little time to ride anymore and this bike needs to be enjoyed by someone with more time to ride it. Its has all factory parts, 2 keys, manuals. Aftermarket parts include DPM race 1" riser clip ons, competition works tidy tail and a Graves slip on. New tires where installed about 800 miles ago and still have plenty of life. Never tracked just ridden on the street by a guy in his early 30's. Bid with confidence this RSV4 is as close as you will get to showroom condition. Aprilia Reportedly Developing 250cc Sportbike

For a company with such a rich history in motorcycle racing including nine World Championships in the 250cc Grand Prix category, it comes as a bit of a surprise Aprilia does not already have a 250cc sportbike in production. From 1994 to 2007, Aprilia won nine 250cc Grand Prix championships with an impressive roster of riders which includes Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, Jorge Lorenzo, Loris Capirossi and Marco Melandri winning titles. Despite making a name for itself racing in the 250cc class, Aprilia does not have a 250cc production sportbike to compete against the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 250 (and its replacement, the Ninja 300) or the Honda CBR250R.

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
