2007 Aprilia Rsv 1000 on 2040-motos
Aprilia RSV 1000 description
Fun, fast, and unique. It's an Italian liter bike.
New rear Brake disc
All fluids changed each season
After market exshaust
Smoked wind screen
Has some scratches
Has never been tracked
Has never been crashed
Stock exhaust, clear windscreen, and rear seat come with the bike.
The only issue is that the fuel pump needs to be replaced It still starts, runs. and rides, but its starting to go. The part is 150 bucks on af1racing and easy to change.
I'm selling because I have a new baby and too many toys.
I love this bike but I have to let some things go. It has been my commuter for the last year, winter and summer.
Don't let the miles scare you, it's a testament to its maintenance.
I don't have maintenance records Because I do my own. I'm a helicopter mechanic, and bikes are my hobby. The previous owner had all maintenance done at the motorcycle mall in Belleville, NJ.

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. For a company with such a rich history in motorcycle racing including nine World Championships in the 250cc Grand Prix category, it comes as a bit of a surprise Aprilia does not already have a 250cc sportbike in production. From 1994 to 2007, Aprilia won nine 250cc Grand Prix championships with an impressive roster of riders which includes Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, Jorge Lorenzo, Loris Capirossi and Marco Melandri winning titles. Despite making a name for itself racing in the 250cc class, Aprilia does not have a 250cc production sportbike to compete against the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 250 (and its replacement, the Ninja 300) or the Honda CBR250R.Mon, 08 Nov 2010 00:00:00 -0800
I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.
