2000 Aprilia Rs125 on 2040-motos
Aprilia RS125 description
Up for sale is my loved 2000 Aprilia RS125. It's the full street version from the factory with a 17 Digit VIN and a clear NC title in my name. Having young infants, is the reason for sale.
I've owned the bike for several years and have thoroughly enjoyed riding it while restoring it. Much of the bike has been improved or restored. To list a few:
Total engine rebuild, including ALL bearings, seals, gearbox forks, bearings, piston, water pump, crank.........
Total rebuild of rear suspension (bearings, seals) with an upgraded YSS shock.
New front brakes and rotor
New coolant hoses
The list goes on and I have thousands in receipts. All work recorded.
There is a full Tyga exhaust system fitted and it sounds fantastic. The bike is a blast to ride and is very light and handles amazingly. This is a high performance 2 -stroke and does require a certain mechanical understanding for maintenance as they are highly strung, which is what makes them so much fun to ride.
It's not perfect as there are some scrapes / scratches here and there, but it's a clean bike and overall very good looking. The engine rebuild was performed about 500 miles ago and it was properly run in and is very quick. Currently it has 16320 Km / 9800 miles.
This is a very rare model in the US and not one of the usual converted track bikes. Please contact me with any questions and I'll get back to you ASAP. Many thanks for looking and good luck.

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.Tue, 09 Sep 2014 00:00:00 -0700
Legendary English marque, Matchless, is attempting to emulate another famous brand, Indian, by forming a comeback. After being purchased by the Malenotti family in 2012, the brand is now going through a revival. If you’re at all in tune with the fashion world, then the Matchless name might be familiar, as many A-list celebrities wear the Matchless-labeled clothing managed by Michele Malenotti.Mon, 23 Jul 2012 00:00:00 -0700
Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.
