2000 Aprilia Rs125 on 2040-motos
Aprilia RS125 description
Up for sale is my loved 2000 Aprilia RS125. It's the full street version from the factory with a 17 Digit VIN and a clear NC title in my name. Having young infants, is the reason for sale.
I've owned the bike for several years and have thoroughly enjoyed riding it while restoring it. Much of the bike has been improved or restored. To list a few:
Total engine rebuild, including ALL bearings, seals, gearbox forks, bearings, piston, water pump, crank.........
Total rebuild of rear suspension (bearings, seals) with an upgraded YSS shock.
New front brakes and rotor
New coolant hoses
The list goes on and I have thousands in receipts. All work recorded.
There is a full Tyga exhaust system fitted and it sounds fantastic. The bike is a blast to ride and is very light and handles amazingly. This is a high performance 2 -stroke and does require a certain mechanical understanding for maintenance as they are highly strung, which is what makes them so much fun to ride.
It's not perfect as there are some scrapes / scratches here and there, but it's a clean bike and overall very good looking. The engine rebuild was performed about 500 miles ago and it was properly run in and is very quick. Currently it has 16320 Km / 9800 miles.
This is a very rare model in the US and not one of the usual converted track bikes. Please contact me with any questions and I'll get back to you ASAP. Many thanks for looking and good luck.

You can't fault Max Biaggi's performance on the track at Misano over the weekend, bagging a double-win on hia Aprilia, but you have to question his podium celebration. We're not sure what's going on here, but suspect it's something to do with his son, who was at the track for the first time to see his old man racing. Perhaps it's Biaggi's way of dedicating his victory to his son or could it be Biaggi's way of saying he's no longer spitting the dummy, something he's earned a reputation of doing over the years.Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Hopefully a 12-year old is looking at this 2014 Aprilia RSV4 SBK wide-eyed, with his jaw on the floor in the same way I looked at Fogarty's 1994 Ducati 916 SBK twenty (shit, I feel old) years ago and the feelings he gets from seeing that Aprilia will spur him on to become a biker! I could look at that for hours, it's a work of art.
