2000 Aprilia Rs125 on 2040-motos
Aprilia RS125 description
Up for sale is my loved 2000 Aprilia RS125. It's the full street version from the factory with a 17 Digit VIN and a clear NC title in my name. Having young infants, is the reason for sale.
I've owned the bike for several years and have thoroughly enjoyed riding it while restoring it. Much of the bike has been improved or restored. To list a few:
Total engine rebuild, including ALL bearings, seals, gearbox forks, bearings, piston, water pump, crank.........
Total rebuild of rear suspension (bearings, seals) with an upgraded YSS shock.
New front brakes and rotor
New coolant hoses
The list goes on and I have thousands in receipts. All work recorded.
There is a full Tyga exhaust system fitted and it sounds fantastic. The bike is a blast to ride and is very light and handles amazingly. This is a high performance 2 -stroke and does require a certain mechanical understanding for maintenance as they are highly strung, which is what makes them so much fun to ride.
It's not perfect as there are some scrapes / scratches here and there, but it's a clean bike and overall very good looking. The engine rebuild was performed about 500 miles ago and it was properly run in and is very quick. Currently it has 16320 Km / 9800 miles.
This is a very rare model in the US and not one of the usual converted track bikes. Please contact me with any questions and I'll get back to you ASAP. Many thanks for looking and good luck.

Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming. Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?Tue, 16 Jul 2013
If you’re going to be at Laguna Seca for this weekend’s MotoGP race, be sure to stop by the Aprilia and Moto Guzzi booths, as both manufacturers are handing out $50 gift cards if you take a model from either manufacturer for a test ride. To qualify for the gift card, simply visit the Aprilia or Moto Guzzi booths during the weekend. There, you’ll receive a postcard encouraging you to test ride an Aprilia or Moto Guzzi at a participating US dealership.Fri, 08 May 2009
The Italian motorcycle company Aprilia withdrew this advert following complaints from the Women’s Institute of Spain, whose advertising monitoring wing considered it to be sexist. Tag translation: “The Arrecife Range: Now several sizes smaller”, I thought Europeans were hip to this kind of thing… Check out the uncensored photo and a controversial Aprilia TV AD after the jump. Not so bad.
